Great bang for the buck ! However I had issues with micro bubbles caused by a poor seal at the return tube and tubing connection . It appears that after 2 months the tubing gets rigid and looses its flexibility to hug the return tube causing an air gap along the molded seam of the return tube .
I bought from Dr.FosterandSmith black vinyl tubing 3/4”ID that has the same texture and quality of Eheim tubing but at the fraction of cost. Very flexible and doesn’t kink . Fits very snug over barb fittings . I dipped end of tubing in hot water and easily slips over barb fittings .
Problem solved ! No micro bubbles and no need to prime . Canister stays air pocket free.
Other than that , this is a great filter and will buy again .
